Youth activities for 6th-12th graders
YoungLife and Wyldlife are starting a new year! Younglife (grades 9-12) is back in Brussels for its 6th school year and Wyldlife (grades 6-8) is kicking off its 3rd year. For those who do not know, Younglife/Wyldlife is a faith based organization that seeks to build authentic friendships with high school and middle school students. We organize many different types of activities including service projects, clubs, leadership meetings and Bible studies. This year for middle school students we will be having Wyldlife club 2 times a month. For high school students we have several different opportunities. We will have a Leadership group that meets 2 times a month, a girls’ Bible study that meets before school every Thursday, and our annual week-long service project which is over Easter break. The Wyldlife kick off for the spring term starts February 6, from 6:30-8 pm at the Cornerstone Church. And our Chili fundraiser lunch will be held after worship on Sunday, February 28 to help pay for our next Young Life service project trip...details to come! Youth Sunday at IPC will be May 30, 2010 with youth actively participating in all aspects of the worship service that day.
