Woc

Since our beginnings in 1922, the Women of the Church (WOC) have been a vital link in our chain of ministries at the IPC in Brussels. Together, we have joined hands with sisters around the world in study, worship, fellowship and mission.  Our alumni have traveled the world establishing new ministries whose seeds were planted in Belgium. All women of the IPC are considered members of WOC. Everyone is welcome!

A prayer ministry to lift up your concerns and joys before the LORD.

"What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?" (Deuteronomy 4:7)

We are a privileged people and should take advantage of our position of privilege to lift our prayers and praises continually before the LORD our God. Now you can join with a group of like-minded individuals in praying for the concerns of those in our church family. If you would like to receive the email messages with prayer concerns and praises, please send a message to: prayer@ipcbrussels.org requesting to join the group.

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise." (James 5:13)

If you have prayer requests, praises or updates on prayer requests, please send them also to: prayer@ipcbrussels.org. They will be forwarded to the group and prayed over. If appropriate they may be included in the Sunday bulletin and in the prayers on Sunday morning as well.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6)

Pray, be prayed for, bless and be blessed!

Toiletries

You are invited to save the little toiletries that you find in the hotels and on your flights.  Near Christmas each year we organize individual packets with all the toiletries that have been brought in and take them to the Salvation Army.  They distribute them to the homeless and the needy.  You can place the toiletries, throughout the year, in the yellow basket which is found behind and under the Welcome Desk in the sanctuary.

WOC Bible studies  2010

Saturday Bible Study Group:

In the fall we will be studying the book - "If you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat" by John Ortberg. We studied one of John Ortberg's books several years ago and enjoyed it. Mun Keet Tai has volunteered to order them through Amazon - if you would like to order a book please contact Mun Keet right away and she will add your name to the list.
